You should put the transit motor on the opposite end the lidded ends of the pontoons will displace the water easier

I’m own a sign shop and when we need to remove signs we use fishing line and in a sawing motion remove the panel from the wall. Then use the multi tool to clean up the left over sika, just like in your vid, saves tons of time.

Short vid, you kind of skipped the cleaning bit before epoxy to remove dirt and oil or anything like that, gloves and mask working tih epoxy and fibre, you can also soak the fibre bfor laying it down.

Next time you’re painting a car or a cowl like this and want to keep the seal in place adjacent to where you’re painting, insert a 6mm rope under the seal to lift the edge and allows you to paint to the underside of the seal rather than trying your cut a hard masked edge. Also, all those scratches, cracks and chips that are showing up in your colour coat are easy to get rid of using high build primer and rub down with 400. Paint is for colour, not filling in imperfections that the primer should have filled. Doesn’t need to be any finer than 400 -600 or you’ll make it too smooth and paint won’t stick. Lots of clear coat with the orange peel rubbed off and polished will look bling.

I don’t know how with rest of owners but I noticed every time trying to start with choke out the engine is getting flooded with fuel and after removing spark plug they are wet. So i try always to start only with handle on starting point and without choke. For me works better. But i will try your method as well

Maybe try making some fiberglass points for the front and back so it's not so flat.
